Out and About in Austin, TX

Blush Silk? My favorite!

Blush Silk? My favorite!

Apart from music festivals, Tex-Mex, barbecue trucks, and ghosts, did you know that Austin is also home to some stellar shopping? I got a chance to bum around South Congress this weekend, and I saw so many beautiful things that I just had to share!

Austin appreciates vintage clothes more than anywhere else, so I always like to step up my anachronistic dress game when I go out. On this trip, I wore a 1970s day dress with an extra-wide collar and a side of leather accessories. I don't always love a leopard print, but this one really speaks to me.

Feathers has an insanely well curated vintage clothing selection, but they also carry some new clothing and jewelry designers, like Pamela Love and MANIAMANIA. It's heartbreakingly beautiful in there.

Neighborhood cat. So dainty. She LOVES getting scooped up, I think.
